Foreign Currency Payment Operations

Foreign currency payment operations are performed by the Bank at the most favorable fees and includes all operations involving cashless transfer of funds in foreign currency, receipt of funds from abroad in foreign currency, payment and disbursement of foreign currency and cash:

  • Payments for export of goods/services and foreign credit operations;
  • Payments for export of goods/services to Kosovo and Metohija;
  • Payments abroad, on various grounds, no later than two business days from the moment of delivery of the order/documentation and payment of coverage, fees and expenses;
  • Payments for import of goods/services to Kosovo and Metohija;
  • Transfer of funds to other domestic banks and foreign currency payments in the country in accordance with regulations;
  • Purchase of foreign currency from the foreign currency payment account of the Client at the most favorable market rate, free of charge and with prompt payment of the RSD equivalent to the Client's account;
  • Sale of foreign currency for payment purposes abroad, at the most favorable market rate;
  • Payment of advances/international business trip expenses;
  • Payment of foreign currency funds for capital contribution and subscribed and unpaid capital;
  • Payment/disbursement of foreign cash in accordance with regulations, in all branches of the Bank.

Receipt and execution of payment orders for foreign currency payment operations is performed in accordance with the Time Schedule for the receipt and execution of payment transactions of legal entities and entrepreneurs based on Clients' needs and requests.

  • Communication with the Bank - collection/payment and transfer transactions based on foreign currency payment operations with the Bank - exclusively electronically;
  • Fast and easy account opening;
  • Approval of the Client's foreign currency payment account upon collection from abroad upon receipt of sufficient funds to cover the payment to the Bank's foreign account and after receiving the necessary data from the Client;
  • Collections from Kosovo and Metohija - collection processing, sale of foreign currency to the NBS and transfer of the RSD equivalent of foreign currency to the Client's account;
  • Payments abroad/transfers in the country - with same day Client's account approval;
  • Delivery of S.W.I.F.T./Eurogiro message about completed payment/transfer to the Client, by electronic means, immediately after the completed transaction and free of charge;
  • Use of electronic banking - managing your account without visiting the Bank;
  • Collections/payments through the EUROGIRO system - a unique system in the Republic of Serbia;
  • Sale of foreign currency at the most favourable market rate.

Postal Savings Bank is the only member of the Eurogiro system in the Republic of Serbia thanks to which its Clients have significantly lower transaction costs compared to the costs of banks which are members of the S.W.I.F.T. network.
Currently, the countries whose financial institutions are members of the Eurogiro system are Switzerland, Slovakia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, France, Brazil and Poland, with a tendency of constant increase of this network's members.
The Bank is also a member of S.W.I.F.T., which enables the exchange of monetary transactions between banks worldwide through the network of its correspondent banks.
