Loan for Energy Efficiency

LOAN FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY is approved in accordance with the Program for financing activities and measures to improve the efficient use of energy, implemented by the Ministry of Mining and Energy and local self-government units and local self-government units. Citizens whose residential property energy rehabilitation projects were selected based on a public call issued by local self-government units receive grants in the amount of up to 50 percent of the value of the works, while the Bank finances the rest of the costs based on the proforma invoice issued by the contractor.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR A LOAN? - Citizens who were awarded grants for the implementation of energy rehabilitation measures in the household after the public call was conducted.

PURPOSE OF THE LOAN
Financing execution of works and purchase of equipment to improve the energy efficiency of residential property. This loan can be used to finance the purchase and installation of:

  • External windows and doors;
  • Natural gas or biomass boilers;
  • Thermal insulation materials;
  • Heat pumps;
  • Solar water heating collectors;
  • Solar panels - NEW!

BENEFITS

  • No mandatory transfer of salary or pension;
  • No application processing fee;
  • Fixed interest rate during the entire repayment period;
  • With or without life insurance.
Loan amount and repayment period

From RSD 30,000.00 to RSD 1,500,000.00
Loan is repaid in 12 to 71 monthly installments.

Interest rate
  • Loan without life insurance
    - Fixed for the period of the first 3 months, i.e. for the period until the date of the first adjustment of the interest rate after the expiration of the 3-month period (30 June or 31 December) and amounts to 6.50%;
    - Variable after the 3rd month, i.e. after the date of the first adjustment of the interest rate, and is determined as the sum of the value of the six-month BELIBOR valid on 31.05. and 30.11. and fixed margins in the amount of 4.95%.

    The interest rate is changed twice a year, on 30 June and 31 December of each year.

  • Loan with life insurance
    – 11,89% per annum, fixed during the entire loan repayment period.

  • Loan without life insurance
      2 promissory notes – RSD 100.00
      Credit bureau report fee – RSD 246.00
  • Loan with life insurance
      1 promissory note – RSD 50.00
      Credit bureau report fee – RSD 246.00
Security instruments
  • Loan without life insurance
      2 blank solo promissory notes;
      2 certified attachments on salary;
  • Loan with life insurance
      1 blank solo promissory note;
      2 certified attachments on salary;

Credit life insurance policy assigned to the Bank (loan beneficiary's insurance policy is paid by the Bank).

Early repayment

Upon a written request to the Bank, the Borrower can make a partial or early repayment of the entire outstanding loan without a fee.

Required documentation
  • Contract with the local self-government unit/Decision on the subsidy amount;
  • Certificate of employment and income (only for employed persons);
  • Decision on attachment on salary in two copies (only for employed persons).
