BASIC SERVICES CURRENT ACCOUNT

In accordance with the Decision of the National Bank of Serbia on current account with basic services (Official Gazette of RS, No. 89/2022) dated 11th August 2022, Postal Savings Bank, joint stock company, Belgrade has enabled additional services within the Current Account with Basic Services.

Current account with basic services contains a package of basic services and the possibility of contracting additional services at the clients’ request.

Basic services package includes the following services:

  • Opening, maintaining and closing of RSD payment account
  • Issuance of Post Card DinaCard debit payment card
  • Depositing cash into the account and cash withdrawal at counters, ATMs and other similar devices of the Bank
  • Activation and use of mobile and electronic banking services
  • Execution of payment transactions by direct debit, payment card, online, transfer of authorization including a standing order
  • Unlimited number of transactions by QR code at points of sale
  • SMS notifications for completed payment transactions
  • Overdraft*

Additional services that can be contracted at the client's request:

  • Issuance of cheques*
  • Issuance and use of a credit card of choice*
  • Opening and maintaining of foreign currency payment account

* If the client meets the requirements for product approval.

Requirements for opening an account

Upon request, the Bank will open a Basic Services Current Account for clients who have legal residence in the Republic of Serbia and who:

  • do not hold an RSD payment account with any bank;
  • only hold an account for loan servicing and/or a dedicated account with the bank for the purpose of paying out funds acquired on the basis of special regulations, which is not used for executing other payment transactions;
  • hold a payment account opened with Postal Savings Bank and request the opening of a Basic Services Payment Account with and at the same time submit a request for closing all other RSD payment accounts.
Documents required for opening an account
  • Valid identification document - ID card or passport.
  • Statement indicating that you do not hold a bank account in the Republic of Serbia.
Lost, stolen or missing documents

Lost, stolen or missing documents related to a current account can be reported by calling the Bank's contact centre at 011 20 20 292 or by filling out the Report on missing documents at the nearest branch office.
